Company’ operation involves the serial turning and milling of parts. Our production goes mostly to foreign markets that include some of the most demanding clients of multiple industries worldwide.
FATOL’s works multiple raw materials such as: stainless steel, steel, aluminium, bronze, brass, technical plastics and to machine parts that are fused, forged, or injected into multiple raw materials.
FATOL started its operation in 1974 in the metal turning and milling market. In 1979, Adão Dias, the current manager, and two partners decided to buy the organisation located in Oliveira do Bairro, which was in a difficult financial situation, and transfer it to Águeda. This was how FATOL was born.
Initially, production took place in a rented warehouse. Later, they bought a land, where FATOL is still located in present day.
In the beginning, the company had three managing partners. In 1999, Adão Dias, one of the managing partners, decided to buy all the shares. He held 70% of the shares and his son Carlos Dias held the remaining 30%. From that moment on, company management would be made by father and son.
Now, FATOL offers multiple solutions to its clients, according to their specifications. Its goals are client satisfaction, continuous operation effectiveness improvement
